Clipboard trigger

Summarize a GitHub pull request just by copying its link

Copy a PR link. Get three bullets explaining what it changes, ready to paste.

Type into Trama: “When I copy a GitHub link, summarize the PR and put it back on my clipboard.” Trama runs only when what you copied is a GitHub pull request URL, reads the pull request with its diff, and has AI write a three-bullet summary that replaces the link on your clipboard — in a few seconds.

What to type

Press Cmd+Option+X from any app and describe it in your own words. For example:

“When I copy a GitHub pull request link, summarize the PR in 3 bullets and put the summary on my clipboard.”

If anything is unclear — which spreadsheet, which channel, what time — Trama asks before it builds.

What Trama builds

  1. Trigger: Clipboard, filtered. Runs only when the copied text is a github.com/…/pull/… link.
  2. GitHub: Read pull request. Fetches the title, description and unified diff.
  3. AI step. Writes three bullets: what changes, why, and anything risky.
  4. Output: Clipboard. The summary replaces the link. Paste it into Slack, Linear or a doc.

You see these steps before anything runs. Ask questions, change any of them in plain English, then switch the automation on.

Make it yours

Change it by saying what you want different:

  • “…and flag anything that touches the database.”
  • “…post the summary as a comment on the PR.”
  • “…show it in a notification and keep the link on my clipboard.”

What you need

GitHub connected in Integrations. An AI provider. If you use Claude Code or Codex, Trama can also hand the review to it. Trama runs on macOS 15.7 or later, on Apple Silicon and Intel Macs.

Your Mac can do that automatically.

Download Trama, press Cmd+Option+X and describe it.
