By downloading, installing, or using Trama ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App. These Terms constitute a legal agreement between you and JOAO ERNANDEZ CAVALHEIRO DE OLIVEIRA DESENVOLVIMENTO DE SOFTWARE LTDA, registered in Brazil under CNPJ 62.392.327/0001-03, with its address at Rua Doutor Arlindo Luz, 540, Sala 01, Centro, Ourinhos – SP, CEP 19900-011, Brazil ("we", "us", "our"), the operator of Trama.
Trama is a macOS application that allows users to create, manage, and run AI-powered automations using plain language. Your automations are stored and run on your Mac. The App communicates with our backend servers to authenticate you, manage your subscription and plan limits, run integration steps (for example Gmail, Google Calendar, Notion or Slack) on your behalf, and receive diagnostics and problem reports as described in our Privacy Policy.
AI features use an API key from an AI provider of your choice (see "Bring Your Own Key" below). We do not relay, proxy, or resell AI requests.
Because your automations are stored only on your Mac, we do not hold a copy of them and cannot restore them if they are lost. Keep your own backups (for example with Time Machine or the export in Settings).
You must be at least 13 years old to use Trama. By using the App, you represent that you meet this requirement and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
An account is required to use Trama. You sign in using a third-party provider (GitHub or Google). You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activities that occur under it. Notify us immediately at support@usetrama.com if you suspect unauthorised use.
You agree not to use Trama to:
Trama is available on a Free plan and on paid plans (Pro and Max). Each plan limits the number of active automations, which integrations and MCP features are available, and how many integration steps (steps that run through our servers, such as sending a Gmail message or posting to Slack) you can run per day. Automations that run only on your Mac do not count toward any limit. Current limits and prices are listed on our pricing page.
Free plan. New accounts start on the Free plan, which you can use for as long as you like. No payment method is required; you are only charged if you choose to subscribe to a paid plan.
Payments. Paid plans are billed monthly or annually, in advance, at the price shown when you subscribe. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your full card details.
Automatic renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or annually) and your payment method is charged for the next period, until you cancel. By subscribing, you authorise these recurring charges. If we change a plan's price, we will tell you by email before the change applies to your next renewal, and you can cancel before then.
Cancelling. You can cancel at any time, without penalty, from the billing portal (available in the app under your account settings). Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep your paid plan until the end of the period you already paid for, and your account then moves to the Free plan. Your automations stay on your Mac.
Right of withdrawal (7 days). If you are a consumer in Brazil, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 7 days of subscribing, under Article 49 of the Consumer Defence Code (Law No. 8,078/1990), and receive a full refund of the amount paid.
Refund policy. Wherever you live, if you ask for a refund within 7 days of your first payment for a plan, we will refund that payment in full, no questions asked, and cancel the subscription. Outside that window, payments are non-refundable and we do not issue prorated refunds for unused time, except where the law requires otherwise.
How to request a refund or cancellation. Email support@usetrama.com from the address on your account, or cancel directly in the billing portal. Refunds are issued to the original payment method through Stripe; depending on your bank or card issuer, they may take several business days to appear.
Trama's AI features run on an API key you provide from a third-party AI provider of your choice (Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, Groq, or a compatible custom endpoint). The key is stored in your Mac's Keychain and AI calls are made directly from your Mac to that provider — we never receive your key and do not proxy these calls. Your Trama subscription does not include AI usage: you are solely responsible for any costs incurred with your chosen provider and for complying with that provider's terms of service.
Trama and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by us and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App, or reverse engineer it, except as permitted by applicable law.
You retain ownership of the automations you create and the content you process through them.
Trama integrates with third-party services (Slack, Notion, GitHub, etc.). Your use of those services is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of third-party services.
Trama is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, arising out of or in connection with your use of Trama, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
We may suspend or terminate your access to Trama if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, or if we decide to discontinue the service; if we discontinue a paid service, we will refund the unused portion of any prepaid period. You may terminate your account at any time by deleting it from Settings. Termination does not affect provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, notify you via email or an in-app notice at least 14 days before the change takes effect. Your continued use of Trama after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Brazil, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute shall be resolved in the courts of Brazil, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.
