TramaUse casesMorning summary of your email and day

Schedule trigger

Get a summary of your email and your day every morning

At 8:45 on weekdays, one notification: what is in your inbox and what is on your calendar.

Describe it to Trama: “Every weekday at 8:45am, summarize my unread email and today’s meetings.” At that time Trama reads your unread messages in the Mail app on your Mac — any account you added to Mail, Gmail included — lists today’s events from Google Calendar, and sends you one short summary as a notification. Click it to read the whole thing.

What to type

Press Cmd+Option+X from any app and describe it in your own words. For example:

“Every weekday at 8:45am, summarize my unread email from the last day and today's meetings, and send it to me as a notification.”

If anything is unclear — which spreadsheet, which channel, what time — Trama asks before it builds.

What Trama builds

  1. Trigger: Schedule. Monday to Friday at 08:45.
  2. Read Mail. Reads unread messages from the last day in the Mail app, without marking them as read.
  3. Google Calendar: List events. Today’s meetings, if your calendar is on Google.
  4. AI step. Groups what needs a reply, what is just FYI, and how the day looks.
  5. Output: Notification. Click it to open the full summary.

You see these steps before anything runs. Ask questions, change any of them in plain English, then switch the automation on.

Make it yours

Change it by saying what you want different:

  • “…also post it to a Slack channel.”
  • “…only email from my team’s domain.”
  • “…read it aloud.” — the Speak Aloud output.
